As you might have noticed, we did not open for novel-length submissions again in February 2023 (or March 2023).
In order to properly service our publishing backlog, going back to 2022, we have decided not to open for novel-length submissions again during 2023. Submissions for our Dragon Gems short fiction program will open quarterly as planned.
We do not make this decision lightly, but we have a limited staff and resources, and we want to properly serve the authors with whom we have existing publishing commitments.
We hope that you continue to enjoy our books and stories, and support our authors throughout this year by recommending their work, leaving reviews, and visiting them at events. (Please see our Calendar for a list of author appearances and events.)
We look forward to receiving your submissions again beginning in February 2024.
